FAKENHAM

Race 2 No1 CHATTY CHICH (Nap)
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

CHATTY CHICK drops back a tad on the distance ladder following her snug Huntingdon success. The Presenting mare will enjoy the drying ground, and from a 6lb higher mark can follow-up.

Race 5 No6 RISKINTHEGROUND
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

RISKINTHEGROUND can prove another winner for the sire Presenting. He justified strong support on seasonal return at Hereford, and remains of considerable interest operating off 4lb higher.

Race 6 No2 BEHOLDEN (Each Way)
Trainer: Jamie Snowden – Jockey: Tabitha Worsley

BEHOLDEN was ultimately well beaten when claiming a minor cheque at Hereford, but can be expected to come on for that experience. He has a habit of troubling the judge, and appeals as a value play in an admittedly competitive nightcap.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 4 No6 DESPERATE HERO
Trainer: Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

DESPERATE HERO finds cut in the ground an essential ingredient to success and with ‘soft’ in the going description he can make the long journey from Berkshire worthwhile. Best ridden aggressively, he can take away a decent-sized cheque with Rodriguez an eye-taking booking for him.

Race 5 No7 WARDA JAMILA (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: David Probert

The handicapper has taken no chances with WARDA JAMILA, handing the filly an 8lb hike for her recent Ascot win. That was only a fourth outing for the Calyx filly and first in a handicap, and with so few miles on her clock there should be more to come from her.

NOTTINGHAM

Race 1 No13 KASSAYA (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Rob Hornby

Kingman filly KASSAYA can parry the attentions of a dozen males to open her account in this five furlongs maiden. She made PONT Neufchâtel fight for the spoils at Salisbury and is going to be more streetwise, while she’s been handed what can prove a favourable (low) draw.

Race 4 No9 HIGH OPINION (Each Way)
Trainer: Bryan Smart – Jockey: Andrew Breslin

Though he’s squandered a few chances, HIGH OPINION figures to go well in this all-aged handicap. A gelded son of his trainer’s Coventry Stakes winner Hellvelyn, the five-year-old has earned on every start since his Newcastle success back in November and deserves to enjoy the rub of the green for Smart, who is a dab hand with his sprinters.

Race 6 No1 AERION POWER (Each Way)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

Osborne’s fine riding has been a feature in recent weeks and she’s started forging a good relationship with horses trained by Stoute. AERION POWER underwhelmed in his reappearance at Newmarket but usually needs a run to bring him to the boil. It would be no surprise if he leaves that effort a long way behind.
