It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Rafeef is a progressive type and she can go one better.

KING’S QUEST produced a promising debut effort when third over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He was green in running, but the manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. The son of Querari would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.
Race 4: CUMBRE VIEJA (6)
Jockey: A Domeyer – Trainer: V Marshall
CUMBRE VIEJA is lightly raced with good form lines to his credit. He should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 200m. The son of Erupt gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. Aldo Domeyer is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
Race 7: PACAYA (1)

PACAYA found one too good in the form of The Futurist last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won once and finished third twice from five starts over this C&D. The 6yo gelding is ideally suited to the wet going and he may be the one to side with.

He has won twice, finished second twice and third three times from ten starts in the wet going. He would have come on from his last outing and should strip fitter. Grant van Niekerk rides and he may be the one to side with.
