This is an intriguing contest with very little form to speak of but the Binda coupling of CAPTAINS LOVE and CATCH A GLIMPSE showed huge improvement when they clashed over this c & d seven days ago. The former ran on smartly for 3rd, beaten just over two lengths in a big field whilst her stablemate was a further 1.60 lengths adrift in 4th position. The obvious concern is whether they will handle two runs in quick succession but their conditioner is renowned for pulling it off.

ROYAL FUTURE is the standout performer in this ordinary contest and the likely short-priced favourite gets the services of a top workrider. The battle for 2nd could be straight forward and the speedy KINDAVAR can claim that spot courtesy of her fair recent form.

FLAPJACK brings solid recent form into this event and he gets the narrow first verdict ahead of the costly to follow INDY ICE. The latter has also shown improvement with the aid of blinkers and rather interestingly, he finished comfortably ahead of the former on the Jagesa Jagesa c & d run in the spring. That said, the son of Mambo In Seattle is a really difficult ride and could be a handful for his workrider.

An intriguing contest which is more open than the betting market indicates and the value entrant could be JAMMIN CAT who had an eye-catching last run despite finishing a well beaten 7th over nine furlongs. Of course she has nearly seven lengths to find with the runner-up SHEZAHOTTI who ran on strongly to register her career best effort but the Houdalakis trained entrant will relish the extra furlong and can finish much closer to the likely short-priced favourite.
