The bay gelding will enjoy the likely solid gallop and the 4kgs claiming apprentice retains the ride.

The Gizmo formline could again come to the fore here and the filly PINA was 2nd best over six furlongs on this track that day. She finished exactly two lengths clear of Odaiba (runs in opening event) and now faces her own sex. The daughter of Curved Ball will prefer this minimum trip and should take a power of beating.

Jockey: Luyolo MXOTHWA – Trainer: Grant PADDOCK
LADY BOK seems to prefer sprinting and she made eye-catching late progress for 4th despite being slow into stride over this c & d three weeks ago. It could pay to follow the progress of Nacre (runs in race 3) who finished a neck in front of the first selection in the above-mentioned event.
Race 7: SOUTHERN SUNSET (7)
SOUTHERN SUNSET is a track specialist who acquitted herself well in stronger fields over seven furlongs recently. She was running on late despite racing wide last time and was rather surprisingly docked two pounds in her rating. The bay filly has been defeated just once in three c & d runs and she represents good each/way value today.

This is a most intriguing maiden affair where the Bremner yard could dominate proceedings and the betting exchanges should be carefully monitored. The well-bred three-year-old BODACIOUS CALL is the stable elect despite him flopping badly after showing pace on his debut over six furlongs late last year. The son of Dynasty attracted tons of betting support that day and was gelded a mere six days later and he now returns from a 27-week absence.
