She takes on much stronger on her handicap debut now but appears well in front of the handicapper’s early assessment and she will relish the extra 250m. The Tarry inmate could certainly be worth following and she jumps from a good draw this time around.

INTRIGUING LADY took full advantage of the recent drop in her merit rating as she posted a smart last c & d display in a competitive three-year old handicap. The imported chestnut filly was returning from a break but she ran on smartly for 3rd and will be fitter today. She only finished a neck in front of the useful SECRET STAR that day and the pair should raise their game in open company this time around.
Race 8: MR RAMBO(12)
MR RAMBO enjoyed racing in quick succession as he produced an eye-catching recent c & d effort in similar company. The Toreador gelding raced wide in that small field but still finished strongly for a close 3rd at the line. He wasn’t penalized for the achievement and could take full advantage of that, especially from his good draw.

STUDENT GRANT showed smart improvement when he ran on nicely to finish just out of the money over 1450m on this course in a competitive event in yielding conditions three weeks ago. The runner-up King Of Mani did the form little favour by finishing unplaced subsequently but this lightly raced son of Royal Air Force will strip fitter and he should relish the mile. He jumps from a good draw and can show decent further progress.
