We’re almost there rugby, fans but there’s still one more Aviva Premiership game to go before we can fully switch our attention to the 2016 Super Rugby season. The game in question will see London Irish host an Exeter Chiefs side that will be determined to capitalise on Saracens slip up last weekend.

So will the Chiefs continue to close the gap at the top of the Aviva Premiership log or will Irish have moved out of the relegation come the final whistle on Saturday?

Our second port of call this week in the Aviva Premiership is the Recreation Ground in Bath where Mike Ford’s Bath Rugby will take on Dai Youngs’ London Wasps. The hosts currently languish in ninth place on the log after a string of poor results, while the visitors moved up to fourth place with their annihilation of Saracens last Sunday.

So, can Mike Ford’s men turn their season around with a vital home victory or will Young’s charges continue their ascent up the Premiership log? Let’s take a look at how the teams are shaping up for this one.

Harlequins are the next side up to take on the juggernaut that is Saracens rugby club. The Wolf Pack have been in impeccable form this season and are yet to lose a game in both their domestic league as well as in Europe. They steamrolled Leicester last time out and will be looking to do the same against Quins this weekend. However they may not have it all their own way as ‘Quins do boast some highly talented players amongst their ranks.

Saracens overcame a stern test against Wasps last week to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. They now face another stiff challenge this weekend in the form of Leicester Tigers. While the Tigers are yet to hit their straps in their domestic league, they have put in some magnificent displays in the European Champions Cup.

Both teams have some highly skilled players among their ranks, so this game should prove to be an absolute cracker.
