Hollywoodbets Star Awards honour and celebrate Hollywoodbets Dolphins Ladies and Mens teams

The event took place on 18 March 2025 at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, where players from both the men’s and women’s teams were recognised for their exceptional performances during the 2023/24 season and the first half of the 2024/25 season.

As the proud sponsor of the KZN Cricket Union since 2015, Hollywoodbets has annually recognised players for their standout performances on the field.

Devin Heffer, Hollywoodbets Brand and Communications Manager, said, “We, at Hollywoodbets, love and enjoy rewarding winners. The purpose is to reward excellence. This is the 10th year of conducting this event, and we are proud to continuing do so. The ladies set the tone with their triumph, and the men’s team continued on from this, and long may this success continue and be maintained.”

Heinrich Strydom, CEO of Dolphins Cricket and the KZN Cricket Union, added, “These awards are about rewarding good performances from our teams and players. We thank Hollywoodbets for its continued support of cricket in KwaZulu-Natal. The highlights of the last season was indeed the ladies winning the 50-over competition, which was boosted by the men winning their version a few days ago. This event is about resetting for the remaining weeks in the season, where two trophies remain up for grabs, while also celebrating excess on the field of play.”
