India vs New Zealand | 21 January 2023 | Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur | 10:00

To Win Match
India 36/100 | Tie 25/1  | New Zealand 22/10

It was the Shubman Gill show last time out as he joined the ranks of those with an ODI double hundred.

India have awesome top-order batting power and when they come off they look unstoppable in white-ball cricket.

Kuldeep Yadav has taken his chance to push to regain his place in the India side.

Meanwhile, the fast bowling stocks of India have never been better with the likes of Mohammed Shami showing why this India team is a different beast.

New Zealand made a great fist of mounting a memorable chase in falling just short in the opening ODI.

All-rounder Michael Bracewell was phenomenal in bashing the Black Caps to within a dozen runs of India’s huge score.

Mitchell Santner also showed that he can be a handy batter as he helped Bracewell make India sweat.

New Zealand’s all-rounder stocks are of great value to them with Daryl Mitchell also able to win matches with bat and ball.

Verdict: India 36/100

India should win this and take the series. I doubt the Black Caps will be able to get as close as they did last time out.
