There were conflicting emotions for opposing skippers Pat Cummins and Ben Stokes after Australia retained the Ashes at Old Trafford on Sunday.
In spite of England’s dominant fourth Test performance, a rain-affected final two days eventually led to a draw which saw Australia retain the urn with a now unassailable 2-1 series lead heading into the final encounter at The Oval.
Aussie skipper Cummins though was far from ecstatic with his side’s most recent showings.

Interestingly, despite calls for a reserve day to be implemented in the series, England captain Stokes sees things differently.
