It's time for the IPL teams who want to be involved in the playoffs to put their hands up. Form has been elusive for some while others appear to have found a winning habit.
Saturday 7 May
Super Giants | Tie 25/1 | Knight Riders (16:00) *betting tba
Lucknow have been riding high but KKR are a dangerous side once they click.
LSG have a stacked batting lineup and will feel that no target is out of reach for them with their talented roster.
KKR will need their game-breakers to come to the party to keep LSG from getting on top.
Both these sides have won the only previous match they played in Pune this term.
The Super Giants have been excellent this season and should bag the W against the Knight Riders.
Sunday 8 May
Sunrisers 1/1 | Tie 25/1 | Royal Challengers 82/100 (12:00
The Wankhede is again in use on Sunday with a blockbuster clash set to take place.
This match has an effective four-point swing with RCB just two log points ahead of the Sunrisers headed into the match.
T Natarajan has been the big star for the Sunrisers so far with the team doing better with ball in hand.
Wanindu Hasaranga has proven a worthwhile acquisition for RCB with his growing repertoire as an allrounder.
RCB managed to stop the rot last time, ending a three-match losing streak when beating CSK. Back them to grab another win here.
Super Kings 1/1 | Tie 25/1 | Capitals 82/100 (16:00)
Chennai Super Kings might have hoped their resurgence continued through their match with RCB, but they came up just short in the chase again.
The Capitals have blown hot and cold but have an opportunity to force their way into the playoff conversation.
MS Dhoni has been huge for CSK but still divides opinion with many of the belief the team now needs to move on.
The Capitals’ young Indian batting core appear to make them a side well-set for the future.
A win here for the Capitals could catapult them into the play-off places. Back them to get the job done.
