The IPL’s round-robin phase draws to a close this weekend and there is little to settle in the remaining contests. The knockout rounds get underway on Tuesday but there is still time for a last desperate bid.

Indians 23/20 | Tie 25/1 | Capitals 72/100 (16:00)

The Mumbai Indians will want to finish their tournament on the home ground with a win after a disappointing campaign.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals will be on a mission to unseat Royal Challengers Bangalore from the final playoff place.

Rishabh Pant said after the Capitals last win that they felt they had gained momentum but they will need to make it three in a row to reach the playoffs.

In the Capitals’ favour, their Net Run Rate is already ahead of RCB’s and all they need to do to snatch fourth is to win this match.

The Royal Challengers will be cheering on the Mumbai Indians but won’t have a great deal of confidence even if they have won three of their last five matches.

Mumbai Indians are bottom of the IPL and will likely stay there regardless of the result.

The Capitals have it all to play for here. With far more on the line, the Delhi outfit are tipped to come away with the all-important win.

Sunday 22 May

Sunrisers 21/20 | Tie 25/1 | Kings 82/100 (16:00)

Both of these teams would have felt in the hunt for some time in the IPL, however, defeats at critical moments have cost them dearly.

This outing will give them a chance to finish the tournament with a victory, but the winner will move up to sixth on the log.

Punjab Kings have been a team that has bowled well, but they haven’t been able to back that up with willow in hand.

The Kings Kagiso Rabada and the Sunrisers Umran Malik still have a shot at ending the group stage as the leading wicket-taker in the competition.

I’ll be on the Kings to end their campaign on a high.
