Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad | 22 September | Dubai International Stadium | 16:00

To Win Match

Capitals 67/100
Tie 25/1
Sunrisers 5/4

The Capitals and Sunrisers restart their campaigns in very different positions.

The Delhi side are up near the top of the table, level on points with CSK who kicked off the restarted IPL with victory on Sunday, while the Sunrisers are at the foot with just one win in seven matches.

An ambitious side, loaded with top talents, the Sunrisers will be determined to do better and march up the table even if their hopes of reaching the playoffs are slim.

South African pacemen Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje are fit to face the Sunrisers for the Delhi Capitals, and are among the match-ready players in their squad. There is still some question about whether Steve Smith is ready for action after a long spell of inactivity.

Verdict: Delhi Capitals 67/100

Back the Capitals to get the job done here.

Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders | 23 September | Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi | 16:00

To Win Match

Indians 67/100
Tie 25/1
Knight Riders 5/4

Mumbai need to bounce back quickly after their loss to CSK with their opponents right behind them on the log and looking to knock them out of the playoff places.

The Knight Riders made quick work of RCB last time out to get themselves back into the race for the playoffs.

There is a suggestion that this tournament won’t be as high-scoring, but we are yet to see the KKR batting tested after their bowlers did the job on Monday afternoon.

Mumbai also have a strong bowling unit but would have been disappointed with letting CSK off the hook.

Verdict: Mumbai Indians 67/100

Mumbai appear to have the more balanced side and should get the job done here.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings | 24 September | Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah | 16:00

To Win Match

Royal Challengers 23/20
Tie 25/1
Super Kings 72/100

The Royal Challengers Bangalore remain in the frame for the playoffs but a blowout loss to restart their campaign was not ideal.

Young Ruturaj Gaikwad carried CSK’s effort last time out after experienced internationals Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali and Ambati Rayudu failed to score a run between them.

RCB’s bowlers were quickly overwhelmed after a poor batting effort, but they have plenty of quality in their ranks, with Yuzvendra Chahal taking the lead.

CSK will want more from their experienced players and could need it to overcome a team that will be desperate to make amends for their poor performance last time out.

Verdict: Chennai Super Kings 72/100

After RCB’s disastrous result against the Knight Riders, the smart money’s on the Super Kings.
