To Win Match

Capitals 92/100
Tie 25/1
Super Kings 92/100

Delhi Capitals

The Capitals come into the Qualifier off a loss in the final round-robin match despite their status as the table-toppers.

Prithvi Shaw has been the Capitals’ best batsman, receiving good support from India teammate Rishabh Pant.

Young Indian seamer Avesh Khan has benefitted from the presence of world-class fast bowlers like Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje.

The Delhi Capitals have beaten Chennai Super Kings in both their meetings in the 2021 IPL.

Chennai Super Kings

CSK finished in the top two despite losing their last three matches, with their last win coming in September.

Faf du Plessis has been a picture of consistency for CSK but he needs the hitters around him to take the lead to keep the Capitals attack at bay.

Shardul Thakur has been the go-to man in the death overs for the Super Kings, albeit with mixed results.

CSK will want to draw on their experience of playoffs success against a Capitals team trying to shake off a string of disappointing ends to their season.

Verdict: Delhi Capitals 92/100

The Capitals appear to be in better shape heading into this match. They’ve also beaten CSK twice this season which make them the obvious pick here.
