To Win
England 52/100
Tie 30/1
Pakistan 31/20

England
Skipper Eoin Morgan demonstrated his value in steering his team towards victory with a brilliant after England lost their openers in quick succession.

Dawid Malan got England home, but his strike-rate might give his harshest critics yet more ammunition against the middle-order batsman.

Adil Rashid got crucial wickets as Pakistan threatened to take the game away from England after being put in to bat. He needs to continue his good form to keep his spot for the upcoming World Cups.

Lewis Gregory performed a key role after the frontline seamers took a tonking from Pakistan, but questions remain about how much value the allrounder brings to the Three Lions.

Pakistan
England figured out Imad Wasim pretty quickly which allowed them to achieve a flying start as Pakistan’s plan B fell flat as the bowlers failed to back up a good batting display.

Shadab Khan fulfilled his role as the wicket-taking spinner, but the express pace of Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Amir travelled.

The team that wins the toss in the third match is likely to elect to field first, but Pakistan cannot rely on having to win the toss to have a shot at winning the contest.

Mohammad Hafeez backed up the selectors continued faith in him and looks set to be a part of Pakistan’s T20I plans for the immediate future. Hafeez scored his third half-century in four T20I innings on Sunday.

Verdict: England
England should clinch the series.
