West Indies vs Australia

West Indies – 8/10
Draw – 25/1
Australia – 1/1
Shimron Hetmyer came to the party in spectacular fashion, to remind everyone what he can do in white-ball cricket and give the hosts an even more imposing batting lineup.
The West Indies finishers were able to build on the work done by Hetmyer and opener Lendl Simmons, to leave Australia chasing the game. In the next match they will want more of the same.
West Indies have bowled well across their series against South Africa and their bowlers continue to put their hands up.
The return of Sheldon Cottrell has further bolstered their efforts with the ball and the hosts will be tough to beat for a misfiring Australia.
Aaron Finch was back in the Australia lineup but their batsmen are all holding struggle bus tickets, barring Mitchell Marsh.
Australia have been suffering from a brittle batting lineup for some time and it seems the rotation of players is doing little to offset this.
The tourists have been able to lean on their bowling but when the Windies get going even the best in the world will struggle to keep them in check.
Adam Zampa found himself being targeted, while fellow slow-bowler Ashton Agar kept things tight, showing that there is some joy for the left-arm orthodox bowlers in the T20 format.
Verdict: West Indies 8/10
The Windies should stay on top.
