Black Friday Social Competition – Terms and Conditions

Hollywoodbets could make your dreams come true this Black Friday. Two winners will be selected to win what they think is in the box when they comment in the comments section on Hollywoodbets’ Facebook page.

1. The competition runs between 22 November 2021 – 23 November 2021.
2. The competition closes on 23 November 2021.
3. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition.
4. To enter, contestants must comment in the comments section on Hollywoodbets’ Facebook page, advising which box they want, what they think is inside it and how we could make their Black Friday wishes come true.
5. The prizes will either be delivered to the winners or the winners can collect their prizes from the closest Hollywoodbets branch for a handover.
6. The winners’ prizes will be awarded to them as soon as they are available for delivery or collection. If one of the prizes is a TV, then the winner of the TV will be required to produce a valid TV licence, or they will need to nominate someone with a valid TV licence to register the TV in their name.
7. The combined value of the two prizes will be capped at R10 000.
8. This competition is only available to clients that have an account with Hollywoodbets.
9. The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries. Winners will be announced on 24 November 2021.
10. A person can enter by commenting on the original competition post found on the Hollywoodbets Facebook page.
11. Entries are limited to the first comment made by a contestant. Thereafter, any other comments by the same contestant will be considered null and void.
12. Draws to select the winners will be conducted by one of the Hollywoodbets Team Support Office members and will be supervised by an internal auditor.
13. The winners will be notified via Facebook inbox.
14. By entering the competition, you agree:
15. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
16. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
17. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
18. A person may not win more than one prize for the duration of the competition.
19. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorized agents.
20. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation
21. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all the above.
22. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
23. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
