Hollywoodbets has been a proud supporter of the Comrades Marathon for the past eight years and to mark our ninth year on the route we signed on as sponsors for the halfway mark. Drummond was a sea of purple as thousands of runners made their way past this important check point while the energetic crowd cheered them on. With plenty of entertainment including the Pantsula Dancers, soccer freestylers, Vuka Drummers and gorgeous cheerleaders there was lots of action to enjoy before the cut-off.
This ultramarathon is the oldest and largest in the world and has been nicknamed the Ultimate Human Race for good reason as it requires athletes to run close to 90km between Durban and Pietermaritzburg each year.
