RAINBOW STAR has found a new lease of life and has won two of his last three starts and finished a close third in the other. The five-year-old gelding picked up a three-pound penalty for his last win over 1400m. Log-leading veteran jockey Andrew Fortune claims the mount on the son of Argonaut and the pair will be expected to go close back over the 1200m.
Race 4: SUNSET BOULEVARD(9)

SUNSET BOULEVARD has found great form in her last two starts. The 3yr old chestnut filly was staying on well over 1600m last week, finishing 3rd, 1.6 lengths behind the winner, Elegant Lady. She ran a good second over 1000m previously and conditioner Phillip Smith must be confident of another big run. He has shrewdly placed his charge over 1200m.

TALKTOTHESTARS is a cut above this field and this champion sprinter could resume winning ways. The son of Overlord has this field stone cold at the weights with an incredible rating of 121. The 5yr old bay gelding is unbeaten in his only run at this track. The bay will relish racing fresh after his well earned twelve-week break.

Jockey: Gunter WROGEMANN – Trainer: Stephanie MILLER
TOLL FREE caught the eye in her last start over this c & d. The 4yr old chestnut filly produced a smart turn of foot to finish 3rd, 2 lengths behind the winner. The handicapper handed the filly a five-pound penalty for that run. The daughter of Carpocrates drops slightly in class. A big run is expected with stable jockey Wrogemann up and the filly jumps from pole position.
Race 8: TERRA INCOGNITA(10)
Jockey: Collen STOREY – Trainer: Coerie LENSLEY
This is a tricky last leg of the jackpot and an upset may be on the cards. TERRA INCOGNITA has had two promising runs since relocating from KZN. The 4yr old grey gelding opened his account at this track three weeks ago when winning his maiden over this c & d, defeating Giveuwings by 3 lengths. The son of Kahal followed that up with a good second over 1200m at this track. The gelding will have no issues back over the 1400m and could feature prominently with only 52.5kgs.
