Hollywoodbets Sharks Competition– Terms and Conditions

Customers stand a chance to win 2 tickets to the Hollywoodbets Sharks vs Leinster  game on the 29 March 2025 and a R250 betting voucher.

1. To enter, customers must answer the question: [What year did the Hollywoodbets Sharks go from the Banana Boys to the Sharks?] correctly as well as have the correct Hastags #HWBFB #HollywoodbetsxTheSharks
2. The competition runs from 24 March to 27 March
3. The winners will be announced 27 March
4. Customers are required to collect their rugby tickets to qualify for the R250 betting voucher. Failure to collect the tickets will result in the forfeiture of the betting voucher.
5. Customers must be over the age of 18 to participate in the campaign.
6. To qualify customers must comment with the correct answer on the original post on Facebook or X.
7. The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid and correct entries as stipulated above.
8. Entries are limited to the first comment made by the customer. Thereafter, any other comments by the same contestant will be considered null and void.
9. The draw will take place at the Hollywoodbets Team Support Office and will be facilitated by 2x Team Support members. on the following dates and the below prizes will be given away:
10. 27 March 2025 – 2 tickets and a R250 betting voucher.
11. The prize will be PICKED UP AT THE HOLLYWOODBETS TEAM SUPPORT OFFICE AT 6 TETFORD CIRCLE, UMHLANGA
12. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
13. The winner will be notified via Facebook or Twitter (X) – comment and Inbox.
14. A person may not win more than one prize for the duration of the competition.
15. A participant shall not be eligible to win any prize in this competition if they have won a Hollywoodbets competition within the past three (3) months, whether or not such win occurred in the same or a different competition. 
16. If the winner is contacted twice with no success, a new winner will be selected.
17. If the winners don’t have a Hollywoodbets account, they will have the option to open one to receive their prize.
18. The Licensee reserves the right to change competition dates during the duration of the promotion as approved by the Board.
19. By entering the competition, you agree:
    1. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
    2. to receive communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
    3. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
20. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such an event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
21. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
22. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all the above.
23. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
24. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
25. In the event of a dispute, individuals may contact their respective gambling authorities.
26. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
