The Hollywoodbets Sharks Women’s side have announced the squad to take on the Bulls Daisies in Round 4 of the Women’s Premier Division on Saturday.
The match takes place at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria with kickoff set for 12:00.
Among the selected players are Vanessa Holmes, Sinenhlanhla Luthuli, Amanda Ndlovu, Londeka Khuboni, Setty Dlamini, Nomonde Mbanjwa, Snenhlanhla Makhubo, Megan Comley, Talya Kisney (captain), Mary Zulu, Silindile Dladla, Mbali Bukhosini, Nontobeko Mathupha, Owami Zikhali and Anesipho Malgas.
Currently, the Sharks are ranked in third place on the log with 10 points. This follows an impressive 40-7 victory over EP Queens in Pietermaritzburg last weekend.
Just ahead of them are the Sanlam Boland Dames, who sit in second place with 11 points, while the Bulls Daisies lead the standings with 15 points.
The Daisies remain the only undefeated team in the competition, having further solidified their top spot with a victory over the Dames last weekend.
This weekend’s matchup promises to be an exciting contest, with the Sharks looking to challenge the Daisies’ unbeaten record.
Adding to the action, the Hollywoodbets Sharks Men’s team will also be in action on the same day. They will face the Bulls in a highly anticipated match at Loftus Versfeld, kicking off at 5:00 PM.
Both matches are set to be thrilling encounters, with plenty of high stakes for both the women’s and men’s teams.
