Stormers 18/10
Handicap
Sharks (-6.5) 9/10
Stormers (+6.5) 9/10
The Sharks top the South African conference, after two wins from as many matches. Their most recent one an emphatic victory over the Auckland Blues in Durban. Sbu Nkosi will make a start, although he was stretchered off the field for what seemed like a serious neck injury.
The Stormers bounced back from their shock defeat at the hands of the Bulls, when they beat the Lions in injury time, as Herschel Jantjies scored under the sticks to win the match 17-15.
The reliable boot of SP Marais kept the Stormers in the game, before Herschel Jantjies
darted in for the late winner.
The Sharks seem like a well oiled machine this year form their back-line to their front row. The KZN franchise will also start youngster Phendulani ‘Phepsi’ Buthelezi on the bench, to give the young flanker some more premium rugby experience, after having made the step up from the U21s which went through the whole of last season unbeaten.
