Chiefs coach Colin Cooper is considering switching D’Mack to fullback and placing Jack Debreczeni in at 10. And after suffering a record defeat against the Saders last weekend, the Chiefs need a jolt in the right direction and the introduction of former rebels man Debreczeni could be the answer.

Debreczeni missed the first three rounds of matches due to injury but played a cameo against the Crusaders, scoring a late try.

The Hurricane have been in devastating form, with the bulldozer Ngani Luamampe the front runner in the 2019 Super Rugby stats with five tries to his name. The Hurricanes held off a challenge from the Highlanders and when their match was all tied in injury time a penalty conversion form Beauden Barrett won them the game.
