Hollywoodbets.mobi winners return from their thrilling Ultimate Fan Trip to Anfield!
Our five lucky winners have all arrived back home safe, sound and full of exciting stories to share about their once-in-a-lifetime trip to England to see Manchester United take on Liverpool at Anfield! All the winners enjoyed their first ever trip to England and are grateful to Hollywoodbets.mobi for making sure they had a fantastic experience during their time abroad.
After arriving in London the winners made their way to Liverpool by way of Manchester, giving them a glimpse of the away team’s home city ahead of the match! They also spent quite a bit of time exploring the city of Liverpool itself and even checked out the night life. Despite all of the exciting new things the winners experienced it is clear that the match itself stood out as a highlight!
“The whole trip was very exciting and I will cherish the memory of it for the rest of my life! I have to say that enjoying this entire experience without having to spend one cent was one of the highlights of this trip, but the ultimate highlight was seeing Wayne Rooney playing less than 10 metres away from us! It was amazing to see him in real life because we always see him on TV!” raved Luvuyo Madikane from Springs when asked what stood out most to him about his Ultimate Fan Trip.

Olebogeng Morubisi from Kathu also had a wonderful time in England, despite the cold weather conditions. “The first thing that stood out to me after we landed was the weather conditions. It was very cold outside! The whole trip was excellent from the outset. After we got to the bar and restaurant at Anfield everything just started to become more exciting. People were asking who we are and where we are from. They asked you to shout out to show which country you are from, so when they called out South Africa we shouted very loudly! Our seats were also amazing, from where we were sitting we could see the players very well. It was excellent!” said Olebogeng.
Simon Mabasa from Soweto was surprised by how smooth his first plane ride was. “The things you were expecting to happen didn’t happen, like the plane shaking, or me shaking. Everything was smooth, it was very nice!” he said.
Philani Chamane from Pietermaritzburg quickly learned how serious the British fans are about their soccer teams. He particularly enjoyed the atmosphere in the stadium. “There was so much singing, the Manchester fans sang particularly loudly. We were treated like kings at the stadium, it was very different to watching a match at home,” said Philani.
Zakhele Shandu from Empangeni also fondly remembers the warm reception they received. “The people were so friendly, they treated us like celebrities! So many people asked where we were from. I can only say thank you to God and to Hollywood for taking me overseas!” he said.
