Where The Money Was At!

A-review-of-Hollywoodbets-writer's-tips

Another enthralling weekend of sporting action has just passed and for some, it was an extremely profitable one.

We’ve decided to take a look back at the past weekend’s action and see which of our tipsters were on the mark and who was off the boil!

Cycling
Jason Dewey continued his solid run of form tipping 18/1 shot, Michael Matthews, to come good last Tuesday. The Orica–Greenedge rider delivered and netted a handsome return for our punters.

This is the final week of the Tour de France so make sure you get on Jason’s tips!

Golf
Commodore Vegas had a weekend to forget with none of his tips for the Open Championship arriving. It was a bit of a strange tournament with Hendrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson sweeping all comers aside. Stenson eventually went on to win the event while Mickelson finished three shots behind the Swede.

Much like the greens at Oakmont Country Club, Commodore’s form is sure to turn. Make sure you keep your eyes open for his previews!

Horse Racing
Our horse racing tipster, eMeM, kept his strong run of form going tipping three out of five for Saturday’s Greyville meet, and two out of five for both Saturday’s Kenilworth meet and Sunday’s Turffontein meet. There were some huge prices affixed to his tips with 11/1 shot Red Ray coming in at Greyville and 58/10 shot Beckoning coming in at Turffontein.

Make sure you check out eMeM’s daily horse racing tips on our blog!

Rugby
It was a miserable weekend for our rugby scribe as only three of his nine tips came in. He was slightly unlucky with the Brumbies missing out on the handicap by seven points and the Stormers missing out on clearing the handicap by an unconverted try. He also woke us all up with a phone call at around 11:45 on Saturday evening declaring the Lions were about to claim top spot on the Overall Conference log. Unfortunately, for him, the side who has made him the most money this year were outclassed by the Jaguares during the second half.

He’s got a bit of a sore head and his wallet isn’t looking as bloated as it was last week but he has reminded us of his tipping form during the 2015 Super Rugby knockout phase, where he went four from five! He reckons his playoff form will be on song again and we’re certainly not betting against it!
