Bet Types offered on International Racing
Below are the bet types Hollywood will be offering on international racing going forward from Tuesday the 1st of April. Hollywood will not be taking the Saftote dividend as done before (however some dividends might be the same due to commingling of pools). South African racing will continue with regards to using the Saftote dividend.
You will see a column showing the bet types offered and another column showing the adjusted dividend. As they use different minimum stake units in different countries, the dividend declared needs to be adjusted to a R1 unit for South Africa. Therefore the fraction displayed will show the fraction of the dividend that we will enter as our dividend. For example if the dividend is $20 and the adjusted dividend is 1/5, this means the Hollywood dividend will be R4. This is what it would pay if it were to a R1 unit. 1/1 means the dividend will be entered as is.
Below each country you will also see a website. This is where we are getting the dividends and results from. Please use this as a reference should you have any queries.
Please refer to Hollywood’s terms and conditions with regards to limits on payouts. Please refer to the bottom of the post for the limits per bet type per country.
The reasons behind us choosing to offer the dividends from around the world is:
1) We are using the home countries dividends
2) Pools are bigger in the home country of the venue
3) Bigger pools mean more meaningful dividends. Dividends you can trust!
4) We enter the result once published in the home country. No waiting on SAFTOTE.
