Official Deduction Table – Horse Racing Scratchings

Attention Hollywood Customers

With effect from today (03/20/2014) we have to revert to the ‘official’ deduction table approved by the KZN Gambling Board which is shown below.

This has come about as a result of a complaint to the KZNGB and we have been found to be in breach of the rules relating to the deduction table.

However, please remember that the starting price we use in determining the deduction will be the last Hollywood price prior to the scratching (as per our T&Cs):

Hollywood Starting Price
The starting price of a horse shall be the last fixed odds laid or displayed by Hollywood on that horse, prior to the start of the race.  In the event of a late withdrawal, where no new betting is displayed before the start of the race, then the starting price shall be the last price displayed, subject to a deduction.
