Anthony Delpech – “Bela-Bela has proved that she is better than the fillies and now she gets her chance to show what she can do against the colts. She is working very well and I was pleased with her gallop on Thursday morning. She stays well and has a great turn of foot. All in all, I am expecting a big run from her.”
MAGIC TIPS (Winning Form) Comment:
Champion filly, clearly on the up, huge contender with low mass.
This striking grey filly had blossomed through the summer where she posted a good 3rd behind subsequent Met Victress Smart Call in a Grade 1 over nine furlongs and she transferred that form to this province. Of course, she produced two scintillating local feature victories on this track, the latest of which was at the highest level over ten furlongs and she is getting better. She has a tough task on her peak showing but the brilliant filly could be up to it from her good draw and with top jockey Delpech aboard. Her gallop wasn’t inspiring.
