EPSOM

Race 2 No4 INDIAN CREAK
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: David Probert

INDIAN CREAK demonstrated his liking for this unique track with a win at the corresponding meeting two years ago. It was on the night of the Hollywoodbets July preview night and many of the boys in attendance cashed in. After scoring on his reappearance at Windsor the gelding has remained in good order, and he will operate on the easy ground.

Race 3 No5 WHITEFEATHERSFALL (Nap)
Trainer: Mark Johnston – Jockey: Franny Norton

Zoffany colt WHITEFEATHERSFALL should have the upper hand in this maiden, given his progression from debut to give the useful Albahr plenty to think about at Haydock. He has the best form, and unless something smart emerges from the newcomers, should open his account.

Race 5 No2 SWEET REWARD
Trainer: Jonny Portman – Jockey: Callum Shepherd

Hat-trick seeker SWEET REWARD shows no signs of letting up and can deliver off his revised mark. He’s handled an undulating track, with back-to-back successes at Sandown, and will be happy with both trip and underfoot conditions.

HAYDOCK PARK

Race 2 No3 HE’S A GENTLEMAN
Trainer: Tom Dascombe – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

Fall Of Rome figures to start a short shot but could be tested by vale option HE’S A GENTLEMAN, who takes decent credentials into the contest in his own right. The selection stepped up on a promising first effort to make a race of it with Atomic Lady at Ripon, and should now be fully primed to deliver.

Race 3 No7 TAWAAAREQ (Nap)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

TAWAAREQ experienced a disqualification when first past the post at Doncaster. He went up just 2lb and remains a well treated, upwardly mobile horse who is worth following.

Race 4 No10 TRIPLE TIME
Trainer: Kevin Ryan – Jockey: Andrea Atzeni

Frankel colt TRIPLE TIME takes on winners La Pulga and Mr McCann but should be too good for them. His placed effort on debut at Leicester had loads to like about it, while his trainer is reaping a rich mid-summer harvest with his juveniles. This fellow can get off the mark on the way to better things.

Race 7 No5 STEEL AN ICON
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: George Bass

STEEL AN ICON has a score to settle with Lucky Draw from Lingfield in May, but such has been her subsequent progression that it’s not difficult to imagine her achieving it. The selection skipped an engagement last week to wait for this and can complete a nap hand of successes

YARMOUTH

Race 1 No1 GENESIUS (Nap)
Trainer: Sir Mark Prescott – Jockey: Morgan Cole

Prescott is mustard with horses like GENESIUS, who after gaining a first triumph for the Heath House trainer at Goodwood is the type to run up a sequence. There should be an improvement to come from this progressive top weight.

Race 5 No4 MOORBIK
Trainer: William Haggas – Jockey: Tom Marquand

MOORBIK went out very quickly when backed as if defeat was out of the question in a Ripon novice. He’d looked the part when scoring at this track on his first run back and is worth supporting to put the record straight now switched to handicaps.

PERTH

Race 5 No1 LOOKSNOWTLIKEBRIAN (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Vaughan – Jockey: Charlie Price

Although lacking the benefit of a recent outing, LOOKSNOWTLIKEBRIAN would be too good for his foes if on song. The top weight has earned in each of his last four starts, including a jumper bumper, and can make this a first success in almost three years.

Race 6 No11 APACHE PILOT (Each Way)
Trainer: Maurice Barnes – Jockey: Thomas Dowson

APACHE PILOT was doing his best work at the finish when fourth to Classical Milano at Hexham last month. True, he was beaten a long way, but he’s taken a plunge in the weights and strikes me as a horse that will soon be ready to win again.

NEWBURY

Race 2 No13 SIGNORINA MERISI (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Martin Harley

Caravaggio filly SIGNORINA MERISI May run green, but she’s shown some ability at home, and her sire is doing well with his juveniles. She could run into the money at a decent double-figure price.

Race 3 No1 BOSH (Nap)
Trainer: Richard Hannon – Jockey: Pat Dobbs

It’s hard to envisage a penalty preventing BOSH from following up his gritty York triumph. That showed he’s going the right way, and he can play the experience card to telling effect.

Race 4 No4 SEA LA ROSA
Trainer: William Haggas – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

SEA LA ROS was quite impressive in landing the odds on her Chepstow comeback. The filly is out of a Hernando mare, meaning she is likely to handle underfoot conditions likely to be softer following several days of rain.

Place Accumulater Perm (Race 1-7)
