HIS CHOICE is one of the better bets on today’s programme. He was slow into stride on debut, but finished his race off well. The son of Trippi will enjoy the extra distance on offer today. Aldo Domeyer retains the ride and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

CHAT CHING was not fancied in the betting market when winning on debut. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade moved up well that day and found extra to fight off all challengers. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She takes a rise in class, but could be anything and may be up to the task at hand.

INVINCABELLE is unbeaten from two starts. He showed good pace last time and drew off well to win easier than the official margin suggests. The son of Querari faces his toughest test to date, but he looks to be above average and should keep his unbeaten record intact.

FYNBOS is the value bet on this afternoon’s card. She finished 1.75 lengths behind FIRST STREET last time and is 2kgs better off at the weights. That should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Elusive Fort should strip a much fitter horse today and can find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
