This is a competitive maiden event, featuring many in-form runners and that could ensure a thrilling finish. NEBULA has an awkward draw to overcome but he made huge improvement when finishing strongly for a close 3rd over this trip at Kenilworth in yielding conditions, second time out. The Silvano colt was given a 12 week break and would have strengthened during the winter. His conditioner continues to turn out the winners and the well-related bay colt has a strong chance.

Jockey: Cheyne G – Trainer: Kotzen G S
This is an extremely competitive handicap and plenty of caution must be exercised. ASHRAM showed good credentials during her three-year old career and she may have found the trip in the Oaks too far for her. She showed promise up to a mile and should progress further this campaign. Her fitness can only be taken on trust but she has a good draw on her track debut and merits respect.

SUMMER CRUISE is back in good form and she has all the necessary gate speed to overcome her wide draw. The Marshall inmate fought back well when beaten a short head by a top three-year old over this c & d recently and she has strong claims of going one better.
Race 7: STRATOCRUISER(4)
This is another extremely competitive handicap but Andrew Fortune’s soft hands could make all the difference to the frontrunning son of Jet Master, STRATOCRUISER. The five-year old gelding has come back to form with a vengeance recently, having finished runner-up in his last three outings. He was caught late by BUFFALO TRIP (1kg worse off) over this c & d last time and has definite claims of going one better.

The expensive purchase MISS MARKER had excuses for her poor last run and would have benefitted from the 17 week absence. She did show some ability with a fair debut effort in a strong field and judging by the betting market in her three runs to date, she is rated by her conditioner. The daughter of Var still has plenty of room for improvement and the form of her last start has worked out well.
