Magic Tips Best Bets

TOP BET

Race 2: FOREIGN SOURCE (1)

Jockey: G Cheyne – Trainer: A Greef

The powerful Alan Greeff stable looks to have a strong hand in this race and he could complete the exacta here. Top selection goes to FOREIGN SOURCE who will be partnered by stable jockey Greg Cheyne. He has consistent formlines to his name having not finished out of the top three placings in all nine of his starts to date.

Race 5: BELIEVEINTHISBEAUTY (4)
Jockey: W Agrella – Trainer: Y Bremner

BELIEVETHISBEAUTY goes for her hat-trick here and the way that she has dispatched her opposition in her last two wins suggests that this is very much on the cards. She has a wide draw to overcome, but she should be picking off the frontrunners in the closing stages.

Race 6: AFRICAN CHIME (2)

Jockey: T Gould – Trainer: A Greef

AFRICAN CHIME is a filly taking on the boys, but she has won her first two starts and could be a fair sort in the making. Teaque Gould, who has been on board on both occasions, retains the ride. The pair could keep her winning momentum going, especially if she gets away on terms.

Race 7: VOICES OF LIGHT (6)

Jockey: G Cheyne – Trainer: A Greef

VOICES OF LIGHT has his second run after a rest. His c&d form is solid and he has posted two of his four wins to date over this distance. With stable jockey Greg Cheyne in the irons, he must be a big runner in this race.

VALUE BET
RACE 8: TOM ‘N JERRY (4)
Jockey: R Munger – Trainer:  S Kotzen

TOM ‘N JERRY will get 2.5kgs removed from his back courtesy of his claiming apprentice and as a result is 5kgs better off at today’s weights with SAMAR, who finished 2.5L ahead of him in their last clash over 1900M on the poly. The former is also better drawn than the latter, so a reversal of that result is very much on the cards.
