BAD REPUTATION’S last three starts in the Cape have been good. She was doing her best work late over this distance. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade has her first run on this course and if all went well with her travels, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

WHAT A FLIGHT has finished second in her last two starts over the minimum trip at Kenilworth. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests she should not have any issues with the extra furlong on offer. Aldo Domeyer takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.                                                  

Race 4: GOLDEN CHANCE (4)

Jockey: G Cheyne – Trainer: A Greef 

GOLDEN CHANCE produced a decent effort when finishing third in her local debut over 1000m on the polytrack. She has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts over this distance. The daughter of Dynasty is by far the best-weighted runner in this contest and she should strip a much fitter horse.

DOPPIO ORO’S last two starts have been good. He challenged strongly all the way to the line last time, but found one too good in the form of Mach Four. He makes his course debut from pole position and if suited to the track, he should take a power of beating.

Jockey: X Ndlovu – Trainer: A Greef

BROADSIDE won a good race in his local debut over 1300m on the Polytrack. He moved up menacingly that day and was geared down for the victory. He has won once and finished third once from five starts over this distance. The son of Soft Falling Rain looks to have a decent career ahead of him in PE and he can notch up his third career victory.
