The son of What A Winter would have gained from the experience and should enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating in this line-up.

SEEKING WISDOM showed good signs of a form return in her last start over 1900m on the polytrack. She moved up well that day, but was outrun in the latter stages by Miss Orange who has won again since. She has won four times, finished second twice and third once from ten starts over this C&D. If confirming her recent improvement, she should go one better here.
Race 3: MISS NIBBLES (1)
Jockey: V.Rensburg M – Trainer: Smith G
MISS NIBBLES was ultra-impressive when winning on debut over 1000m on this course. She raced from just off the pace and drew clear well in the closing stages. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is the only winner in this contest and should remain unbeaten.
Race 7: FLAME TREE (5)
Jockey: Cheyne G – Trainer: Greeff A
Alan Greeff holds a strong hand in this contest and can saddle the trifecta. FLAME TREE is much better than her recent form suggests and makes her local debut today. She won her only attempt over this distance. The 10-week break may have done her the world of good and if suited to the track, she should get back to winning ways.

SHOWTIME BABY’S last three starts have been decent. She stayed on strongly in her last outing, but found one too good in the form of Que Cosas. The daughter of Captain Of All is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.
