CANA should have finished closer to the winner last time as she had to switch at the 200m mark. The daughter of Elusive Fort will be at home over the 1900m and it is encouraging that Greg Cheyne steps into the saddle. With a bit of luck in running, she should take a power of beating.

LA BELLA MIA was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over the minimum trip on this course. The manner in which she races suggests that she will have no issues with the rise to the 1300m. Marco van Rensburg is likely to give her the same ride this afternoon and she should take a power of beating.
