He is suited to the mile and will again benefit from a 2.5kgs appie claim. The seven-year-old gelding is weighted to be competitive and he usually finishes strongly so his wide draw isn’t an issue.

The track specialist GOGETTHESHERIFF has been defeated just once from seven outings on this surface and despite his big mass today, he is still weighted to take some beating on official ratings. He is a versatile sort whose first local victory came over this c & d and his impressive last victory on the grass showed that he is still in great form. He has a super-impressive turn of foot and should go close despite his wide draw.
