She is likely to have her own way in front from pole position and Luyolo Mxothwa will be able to dictate his own terms. The daughter of Pathfork should be hard to peg back.

MASTERS QUEEN hails from the visiting Candice Bass-Robinson stable and her last three starts have been fair. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish over 1400m last time was encouraging. Aldo Domeyer takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most. If all went well with her travels, she may be the one to side with here.

MAYFERN has good consistent form lines to her credit. She ran on strongly when finishing second over 1600m on the polytrack last time. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. She is drawn wide at gate fourteen, but is likely to be switched off near the rear of the field and she will be mowing down the frontrunners.

VERONICA MARS has good form lines to her credit. She lost two lengths at the start in the Grade 3 Victress Stakes last time, but ran on strongly to finish third. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She finished third in her penultimate run on this course. If jumping on terms, she should take a power of beating.

ALL THE SEVENS has been taking on much stronger company in his last two starts. He won his only attempt over this C&D. The 6yo gelding returns from an 11-week break which may have done him the world of good. He races well fresh, drops in class and can return to winning ways.
