The speedy GEORGIA MAY had a bright local debut when she was pipped over this c & d against male rivals one week ago. She was in turn over seven lengths clear of the next placed entrant WINGS N THINGS and would have come on with that first experience on this surface. Admittedly, she faces stronger rivals today but is progressive and is the one to beat back against her own sex.
Race 2: ANAAR KALEE(8)
Jockey: M YENI – Trainer: C LENSLEY
This is a moderate maiden contest where caution should be exercised. The lightly raced mare ANAAR KALEE made huge improvement when she finished strongly for 2nd in a weak maiden event over this c & d two weeks ago. She was returning from a short absence so will be fitter and still has some scope. She does take on stronger though and will have a tough contest on her hands.

ROY’S DISPREN is clearly on the up and he kept going to beat a decent field over a mile last Monday. He picked up a four pound penalty for his exertions but is still weighted to be highly competitive in this slightly stronger line-up. The four-year old gelding is very effective over this shorter trip and he can land the hat-trick.
Race 7: SEA BEAN(3)
Jockey: R MUNGER – Trainer: LJ HUMAN
SEA BEAN has surprisingly relocated to Kimberley despite some useful form on the Highveld, particularly her improved last effort behind a quality sort at the Vaal. The well-related bay filly certainly has more to offer and she should be highly competitive on her local debut with the obvious worry being whether she handles this surface.

Jockey: M VAN RENSBURG – Trainer: W G MILLER
The form runners could dominate this final leg of the Pick Six where the consistent MR MCSTEAMY can go one better than on his promising local debut last Monday. He stayed on for 2nd behind the quality sort Easy To Please over the minimum trip and should have no issues with the extra furlong despite his record suggesting otherwise. His good draw is a major plus.
