He crushed JET SAILOR over this c & d on handicap debut earlier this month and can confirm the form despite the expected maximum eight pound penalty. He has the gate speed to overcome his wide barrier. The latter is 3kgs to the good but that may not be enough to reverse the form.

WELL DRESSED had an excusable last feature showing in mixed company and she would have benefitted from the 12 week break. She completed a fine hat-trick of victories prior to that, including a last gasp triumph over OVER ACHIEVER (2.5kgs worse off) in her penultimate outing and she can bounce back here.

MR MCSTEAMY regained his best form when he kept on well to beat a fast finishing GROUND BREAKER (1kg worse off) over this c & d earlier this month. The latter unfortunately flopped badly in a weaker subsequent event but the first selection is a reliable sort who can follow-up despite the resultant three pound penalty.

The Georgia May formline features prominently in this low-key affair and the first selection TOP SALUTE performed best of all when she ran on strongly for a close 2nd behind her conqueror over five furlongs earlier this month. She had SOMNIUM a short head adrift of her and with the pair meeting on similar weight terms, there shouldn’t be much to choose between them. They have no stamina issues over the extra furlong and the top rating can defy her awkward barrier position.
