Race 2: FADE TO GREY(7)
Jockey: MJ ODENDAAL – Trainer: Colin SCOTT

FADE TO GREY has had two useful efforts to date. She was second best behind a quality sort on debut but built on that with a good third over six furlongs at Scottsville, next time out. She would have benefitted from the 13 week break and should relish tonight’s extra furlong on her pedigree. She has enough early pace to handle her wide draw and she merits healthy respect.

Jockey: Sifiso LEMBETHE – Trainer:  Sean TARRY

BENGAL BLUFF built on his fair debut when he went close over seven furlongs at Scottsville, ten days ago. The son of Tiger Ridge should have more improvement to come tonight and should easily handle the extra furlong. He jumps from a midfield draw.

Race 4: CHERISHED(6)
Jockey: Anton MARCUS – Trainer: Charles LAIRD

CHERISHED weakened late when he failed to see out ten furlongs in his last start but the drop to a mile will be ideal for the son of Jay Peg. His career best performance came over this distance in his second outing and he has finally cracked a good draw. He should enjoy being fitted with blinkers and could take some beating in this moderate field.

Race 9: LADY JADE(1) – TOP BET
Jockey: Anton MARCUS – Trainer: Alyson WRIGHT

LADY JADE has been extremely costly to follow but she has shown lots of promise to date. She has finished runner-up in 4 of her 5 c & d efforts and tonight could be her night. She had traffic issues over six furlongs on this course last time but she still flew up late and was only beaten a neck into third. The daughter of Lion Tamer jumps from a good draw tonight and hopefully Marcus can get her that deserved first career win.

Race 5: MISS TIGER EYES(2) (Each Way)
Jockey: Kevin SHEA – Trainer: Duncan HOWELLS

MISS TIGER EYES has regained her best form in her last three starts. She built on her two good runs over a mile as she ran on well to win over ten furlongs, ten days ago, despite being slow into stride. She was handed a four pound penalty for that effort but still has more scope for improvement and she meets a similar field tonight. She has a fair record on this track and must be included again.
