The daughter of Dynasty had her best recent effort with today’s jockey in the irons and she is her yard’s only entrant on the card. She is once again drawn best of all.

ONESIE is a smart and versatile chestnut who finished well for a close 3rd in a ‘blanket’ affair over ten furlongs on the grass recently. She will easily handle today’s rise in class and coping with the mile is no issue for the daughter of Ideal World who has a good track record. Interestingly, she is the only mount of returning top jockey Brandon Lerena on the day.

Jockey: Warren KENNEDY – Trainer: Gavin VAN ZYL
AFRICAN DYNASTY attracted betting support when she produced a promising debut over this trip on the grass at Scottsville early last month. She stayed on nicely for 3rd behind the improving Tweed Valley (runner-up in strong field subsequently) that day and would have come on appreciably from the experience. The daughter of Dynasty has drawn well on her track debut and she should give a very good account of herself.

TOM COLLINS has been slightly disappointing since his fair debut but the Philanthropist colt has been ‘crying out’ for this extra ground and his conditioner has obliged. Of course the chestnut tries the turn for the first time but he jumps from a good draw and could make serious improvement.
