LOYAL BABY produced a career best performance last time over this C&D when beaten by All Joyful. He looks well placed in this type of field and can confirm his recent improvement. JOLLY HONOUR has won twice over this C&D. He placed in his penultimate run under Teetan and has the ability to challenge the top selection.

WILD WEST WING produced a fair last effort when beaten just under two lengths by Lightning Storm. He is a 1000m specialist, looks nicely handicapped and should be one of the leading contenders. JOYFUL WIN produced a decent last run when beaten 2.3 lengths by Stormtrouper. He drops back to 1000m and can challenge for top honors.

MEANINGFUL STAR followed up his most recent win when close-up behind a progressive type in the form of Fa Fa last time. He is in a good space and on form is difficult to oppose. WORLD FAMOUS is 2.5kgs better off at the weights with the top selection for a neck defeat. He is drawn pole and should give a good account of himself.

XPONENTIAL has been narrowly beaten in recent outings. He finished half a length behind Sight Hero last time and on form definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. CORDYCEPS ONE finished a couple of lengths behind Happy Gathering last time. He finished in-front of AMIGOS GIGGLE on that occasion and must have a say.
15.15 Race 6 Class 2 Handicap 1200m

TRANSCENDENT defeated WINNING METHOD in his third run after a rest. He should be at peak fitness, shoulders a light weight and the Italian-bred should make his presence felt. DROPS OF GOD backed up his favorite status last time when beating Namjong Sings by a length at the wire. He is another one that comes in with a light weight and can make it quick back-to-back wins.
15.45 Race 7 Class 4 Handicap 1650m

BREEZE OF SPRING has found one better in both of his comeback runs. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and should be right there. The only concern is that he is relatively unexposed on this course. RED MAJESTY is a likely frontrunner from a neat draw. He followed up his most recent win well when beaten 1.5 lengths by All Joyful. He has recorded all four career wins on this course and may be hard to peg back in the closing stages.

FAMILY FOLKS was only pipped by a neck in his comeback run after a three month break. He will be a fitter horse now and should take a power of beating. MY ECSTATIC rises in class but was also pipped by a neck last time and must be respected with a light weight on his back.

SERGEANT PEPPER produced a decent local debut when beaten 1.4 lengths by Harmony N Blessed. He would have gained from the experience and should come on nicely with that run under the belt. It is encouraging that Teetan has kept faith in the ride and the pair will have strong claims in the lucky last. DIAMOND BRILLIANT beat Family Folks in his second run after a rest.
