SAVVY KINGMAN brings consistent form into this race. He was narrowly beaten in his comeback effort, Moreira knows him well and the pair can open proceedings. METHANE has finished runner-up in his last four outings. He finished close-up in his comeback run and his second career win looks overdue.

SUPER KIN is still winless but his best performances have been under Shinn. He finished only 1.6 lengths behind the winner last time and a repeat of that effort should see him finish in the money. SEIZE THE SPIRIT produced a decent effort last time when only beaten a length at the wire. He shoulders top weight but is a strong contender in Class 5.

HAPPY TANGO dictated terms well in his comeback when runner-up. He should strip a much fitter horse, looks fairly handicapped and is capable of getting back to winning ways. FARIBAULT was a narrow winner of his last start on this track back in July. Teetan takes the ride which suggests that he is showing good work at home and the pair merit healthy respect.
14.15 Race 4 Class 3 Handicap 1800m

TURIN REDSTAR was a narrow comeback winner under Bentley. He takes on slightly stronger, shoulders 4kgs more and is capable of making it quick back-to-back wins. The French-bred WORLD FAMOUS was just pipped in his comeback run over this C&D under Borges. He shoulders 2kgs more and should give the top selection a run for his money.
14.45 Race 5 Class 4 Handicap 1200m

A SMILE LIKE YOURS was making steady progress from the rear of the field last time. Moreira takes the ride, which is positive and the pair should be doing their best work at the finish. HAPPY TIME was a narrow winner in his last start. He shoulders another handy galloping weight and there is no reason why he can’t make it quick back-to-back wins.
15.15 Race 6 Class 4 Handicap 1650m

FAITHFUL TRINITY is likely to adopt front-running tactics and will look to go from gun to tape in this contest. He was only beaten by a neck in his last start and will be trying to make amends. ERNEST FEELING finished runner-up in his last two starts before the break. Teetan takes the ride which suggests he is fit enough to make his presence felt and must be included.
15.45 Race 7 Class 4 Handicap 1200m

FORTUNE CARRIER started the season on a high note when winning by a neck over this C&D defeating XPONENTIAL. He should strip fitter and is capable of winning again from pole. XPONENTIAL is 1kg better off at the weights with the top selection for a narrow defeat. He won’t need to improve by much to turn the tables on his recent conqueror.

CLASSIC POSH brings consistent form into this race. He made a smart return to the races after a two-month layoff when defeating COLONEL by half a length over this C&D. He should strip fitter and the Aussie-bred is difficult to oppose. COLONEL is 2.5kgs better off at the weights for a narrow defeat and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror.
16.50 Race 9 Class 2 Handicap 1650m

TELECOM FIGHTERS is a three-time winner on this course. He recorded back-to-back wins under Moreira last season, should be doing his best work late and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. HIGHLAND FORTUNE has a decent record on this course. He found one better in his last start over a mile and it is encouraging that Teetan has kept faith in the ride.
