On Friday evening, 10th of October the famous Hollywood silks (yellow with purple stars) shone bright on the Greyville Polytrack. Their solitary representative in the country, Cherish The Charm (3/1) ran on well to win his maiden at just the third time of asking. The three-year old son of Badger’s Drift has improved smartly with each of his three efforts, was wonderfully prepared by his conditioner Alyson Wright and given a strong ride by former champion jockey, Anthony Delpech. There were some encouraging post-race words from Delpech who remarked, “He’s going to mature. He’ll win his races”. There could be some exciting times ahead for the syndicate and all its faithful followers.
