He has his first run at Hollywoodbets Greyville, but if he is able to reproduce his Highveld form down at the coast, he should be the one that they all have to beat. He won’t have things all his own way as FAVOUR has rattled off three wins on the bounce and is unbeaten in two starts over this distance. He should be right up there to pick up the pieces should the former fluff his lines.

SILVA MAGIC has improved with every outing and was running on well after losing a length at the start last time out over ten furlongs on the poly. That was just her second start since arriving from CT and she should have improved since then.

OUR COYS has his peak run here. He lost a length at the jump in his latest outing and then had to be eased in running. He finished well over the mile and will have no problem with the extra ground he faces this afternoon.

FINAL ASSEMBLY and MOKOKO face each other again this afternoon. The former did finish 0.75L behind the latter in his penultimate outing over this distance on the poly, but he is 2kgs better off at today’s weights which should be enough for the tables to be turned. More importantly however is the fact that the former starts from gate four, whereas the latter jumps from draw fourteen.
