She has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. She tries the polytrack this afternoon and if suited to the surface, she should shed her maiden tag.

SONNY QUINN has decent recent form lines to his credit. He has finished second once and third five times from eight starts over this distance. The son of Great Britain tries the course and if suited to the polytrack, may be the one to beat. Anton Marcus takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

DEORSA showed very good improvement in his last start over 1200m on this course. He cast a shoe in running that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging. The son of Soft Falling Rain will enjoy the extra furlong on offer and should be cherry-ripe. Anton Marcus does duty and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
Race 5: KOOPA TROOPA (1)

KOOPA TROOPA produced a promising debut effort over 1950m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. The manner in which she finished off her race that day caught the eye. The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she can go one better here.

She makes her polytrack debut today and if suited to the surface, she should be the one to beat. She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand.
