The son of Coup De Grace looks progressive and if suited to the polytrack, he should go one better here.

CUPID’S SONG’S last two starts over this distance have been good. He raced from just off the pace last time and stayed on well at the finish. The son of Oratorio does not meet the strongest field today and with Lyle Hewitson in the saddle, he should shed his maiden tag.

SHAPE OF YOU is lightly raced with good form to her credit. She raced from a handy position last time, but found one too good in the form of Peanut Butter. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade tries the polytrack for the first time and if suited to the surface, she should shed her maiden tag.
Race 5: EMERALD PALACE (10)
Jockey: Kennedy W – Trainer: Van Zyl G
EMERALD PALACE has very good recent form to her credit. She was her own worst enemy last time as she jumped awkwardly, overraced and raced wide before getting outrun in the latter stages. The daughter of Potala Palace has changed stables since that outing and if switching off early, she should be the one to beat.

CANADIAN BOLT was not disgraced when finishing fifth against stronger company last time. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from six starts over this distance. He should strip a much fitter horse today and with Lyle Hewitson in the saddle, he should be the one to beat.
