KOMODOSAN showed good improvement in his last start over 1500m on this course. The manner in which he finished off his race that day caught the eye. He was reported to have cast a shoe in running which makes the effort that much more encouraging. The son of Jay Peg gets the services of Lyle Hewitson and further natural progress can win this.

ARTIC TUNE was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. It must be noted that the horses that finished second and third in that effort have come out and won since. The son of Noble Tune looks to have ability and with a bit of luck from his wide draw, he can notch up the hat-trick.
