GALABIER produced a promising debut effort over 1500m on this course. He should have finished closer that day as he had to switch at the 200m mark. The son of Ideal World would have gained from the experience and should enjoy the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

DIAMONDSANDPEARLS ran a fair race in the Grade 3 Flamboyant Stakes last time. Her form prior to that in handicap company was good. She will enjoy the rise in distance this afternoon and from her good draw of three, she can get back to winning ways.

SANCTITY showed some improvement in his last start over this C&D. The manner in which he ran on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of Var is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Serino Moodley steps back into the saddle and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
