He was his own worst enemy that day as he overraced in the early stages, but still managed to stay on nicely at the business end. His brother, Out Of Your League won the Grade 1 SA Derby over this type of distance. If switching off early, he should be the one to beat.

STELLA ACT’S last two starts after returning from a 16-week break have been decent. She raced from a handy position last time and stayed on well at the finish. The daughter of Act Of War won her only attempt over this C&D. She is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.
