The daughter of Visionaire would have come on from that run and should take a power of beating today.

DONALD MCDONALD produced an eye-catching debut effort when finishing 3rd over six furlongs on this course. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day suggests that he will enjoy the step up to the 1500m. Warren Kennedy does duty once again and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one they all have to beat.

TWIST OF FATE one of the better bets on today’s programme. He was not disgraced when finishing 4th in the Sun Met last time. He loves this distance with a record of one win, two seconds and two third place finishes from six attempts. This is obviously a prep run for bigger races this season, but he is classy and should be too good for this field.
